typescript

Filmed on a shoestring budget, mostly in Scotland, Monty Python and the Holy Grail has become a huge hit, recently reincarnated as the musical Spamalot. It brilliantly parodies the excesses of medieval romance and Arthurian mysticism. The film was co-directed by Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones; this is the latter’s copy of the screenplay, with his working notes and revisions.
