Manuscript

This manuscript contains a version of the Troy Book by John Lydgate (c.1370–c.1450), alongside fragments of a Scottish Troy narrative. Along with MS. Arch. Seld. B. 24 elsewhere in this section, it is evidence of careful interest in late-medieval Scotland in the Troy legend as an example of military courage and political folly.
